Pranayama (Breathing)

Since graduating as a yoga teacher  many people have shared with me how difficult they find it to breathe from the diaphragm. In this short audio  I want to share some thoughts on how to breathe diaphragmatically (eupnea breath). Considering we breathe 20,000 times a day it is amazing how few of these breaths it takes to manage stress and anxiety.
Breath awareness is the most important aspect of learning about the breath. Once you have developed basic breath awareness skills you can work on developing new breathing techniques to enhance well-being, health and vitality.
​One of the most effective breathing techniques to learn is the diaphragmatic breath (or eupnea breath). Listen to the following instructions and follow along.
